Enough is Not Enough!

Do you want to see S.W.A.P taken to the next level? Have you been playing non-stop since launch but want to see more (abilities, tiles, game modes, arenas)? We’ve been gaining an incredibly humbling amount of traction over S.W.A.P’s launch, and plenty of positive encouragement to keep pursuing the innovative mechanics that drive S.W.A.P and lead to the development of a true first-person sporter. Although the release gives our players a functional and fun example of the swapping mechanic in action, we know that the game could be so much more, and that’s why we’re asking for your support.

Unfortunately, developers like all people have to eat, and we know that we can’t continue working on a game that isn’t financially viable anymore, but the best way to change this is through crowdfunding. We’re in the process of considering a campaign for S.W.A.P’s continued development, working on the game full-time to present a revolutionized experience rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal. A renewed focus on the competitive sporting aspect of gameplay, coupled with advanced matchmaking and party play features to rival much larger games can open up a new league of competitive swapping to both experienced and casual players. Creating a real-time, in-engine level editor for players to create their own maps within, to operate alongside a much more engaging set of community tools such as achievements, challenges, and career profiles. We need thousands of signatures to make this development dream a reality, but we believe that S.W.A.P has that potential. The next few weeks will be make-or-break, and our renewed appearance at EB Expo (Yay! We’ve got a booth again!) will be the best chance to make S.W.A.P shine.
